My name is Rob Scott, and many people might think I’m not supposed to be happy.
Like so many of us, I went through a lot of tough stuff when I was a young child. I was pretty horribly abused, for years. I started experimenting with drugs and alcohol at the ripe old age of seven (yes, seven).
By the time I was in my early teens, I had a drug and alcohol problem. I was using it to feel better, because without it, I was miserable.
My late teens and into my twenties were tough. Really tough. I ended up in all kinds of institutions. Jails, rehabs and halfway houses were more the norm.
And then I ended up homeless.
I’ve lost too many friends to suicide. And I’ve almost died myself many times. Oh, and I also had cancer in there somewhere. A really aggressive one that I let go long enough that it moved all over my body.
So why should you listen to someone like me?
Because I’m truly happy today. And I can show you how to be happier too. Somewhere along the way, something clicked, and I saw how my own mind was creating most of my problems.
And when I addressed the errors, I figured out how to manage my mind differently. I realized I could share this with others, and it worked.
People all over the world started asking me for coaching. And for the last 13 years, I’ve been coaching people on happiness and success full time.
